He completed two years in The Togethership, a selective development program for high-level student-athletes, and carries a 3.5 GPA. Swanson comes from a deep football lineage, with his father having played at USC as a tight end and long snapper and his brother set to join the Trojans program this fall.
“For me, being a great quarterback is about more than talent. It's about leadership, accountability, and putting the team first. I focus on building real relationships with my teammates, communicating well, and doing whatever it takes to help us win. Growing up as a triplet meant I was always competing, and that environment built the drive and toughness I needed to hold my own in the Trinity League. I embrace pressure and tough situations because they push me to grow, and I try to learn from every experience along the way. I'm excited for the opportunities that lay ahead!”
