Program History

Santa Margarita Catholic High School's football program has been a powerhouse in Southern California since 1987. Competing in the Trinity League, widely regarded as the toughest high school football conference in America, the Eagles have consistently produced top-tier talent both on and off the field.

With multiple CIF and State Championship titles, the Eagles have built a winning tradition that attracts the best student-athletes and prepares them for success at the collegiate level and beyond.

Academic Excellence

As a Catholic college-preparatory school, SMCHS holds its student-athletes to the highest academic standards. Our football players consistently maintain strong GPAs while competing at the highest level of high school athletics.

The program takes pride in developing well-rounded young men who excel in the classroom, on the field, and in their communities. Our players are recruited not just for their athletic ability, but for their character and academic potential.
