About Evan
My name is Evan Linstrom, and I am a football player at Santa Margarita Catholic High School entering my sophomore season. My freshman season was a great experience where I was able to compete at both tight end and defensive end, allowing me to grow as a player and contribute wherever my team needed me. Through hard work, dedication, and constantly pushing myself to improve, I was honored to receive the Iron Eagle Award. This award represents being a leader and a captain of the team, showing the commitment, effort, and ability to help lead teammates both on and off the field. That season helped me develop not only as a football player but also as a teammate and leader.
Going into my JV/varsity season, I will be focusing on playing tight end and continuing to build my skills at the position. I take pride in being a physical player, learning the game, and finding ways to make an impact on the field. I am always working to get better through training, practice, and competition, with the goal of continuing to grow as an athlete and represent Santa Margarita at a high level.

Football has taught me the importance of discipline, teamwork, and pushing myself to reach goals that may seem challenging.
My goal moving forward is to continue developing as a player and earn the opportunity to play varsity football. I want to keep improving at tight end, compete at the highest level possible, and continue proving myself through my effort and preparation. Every practice and every opportunity is a chance to grow, and I am focused on becoming the best player and teammate I can be while helping my team succeed.”
