Kai Koga is a 2027 kicker/punter at Santa Margarita Catholic High School who brings a rare international soccer background, having trained and competed across multiple countries before transitioning to football with advanced ball-striking mechanics and a 315-pound squat that supports genuine leg power. At 5'11" and 176 lbs with a 4.68 forty, he profiles as an athletic specialist with the foot skills and composure developed through high-level soccer competition. Competing against top Southern California talent, Koga has focused his development on field goal accuracy, kickoff depth, and punting consistency while maintaining a 3.6 GPA.

“Hi, I'm Kai Koga, a Class of 2027 kicker at Santa Margarita Catholic High School in Orange County, CA. In my first football season, I earned a roster spot through my leg strength, accuracy, and consistency. My kickoffs reach the end zone with regular hang time, and my longest field goal is 50 yards. I'm a 4-star kicker ranked by both Chris Sailer and Jamie Kohl, and I've been invited to Kohl's Future Stars Camp while training year-round with Chris Sailer Kicking. I'm disciplined, competitive, and focused on getting better every day, on and off the field. I work on technique, strength, and mental preparation every week because I know that's what it takes to be a reliable specialist at the next level.
