Originally from Texas (El Paso), he brings a strong foundation in the position along with the physical tools to perform at a high level. Stansbury is a poised pocket passer with the arm strength to attack all areas of the field and the discipline to operate within offensive structure. He also shows the ability to extend plays when situations break down. He maintains a 3.9 GPA and comes from a football lineage that includes an NFL father (UCLA, Houston Texans).He brings both experience and a high-level understanding of the position.

“My name is West Stansbury, a 6'3", 235-pound pro-style quarterback in the Class of 2028 with a 3.9 GPA, competing for Santa Margarita Catholic High School in Orange County, California. I'm originally from Texas, but I made the move to California to compete at a higher level and challenge myself in the Trinity League. That transition has pushed me to grow both on and off the field. As a pocket passer, I have a strong arm, advanced football IQ, and the ability to make precise, layered throws into tight windows. I take pride in my pocket presence and my ability to work through progressions quickly while staying composed under pressure. When I need to, I can extend drives with my legs too. I'm a consistent leader who stays locked in from the first snap to the final whistle. I pride myself on being coachable, commanding the huddle, and putting my team in the best position to succeed. Football runs deep in my family. My father played at UCLA and in the NFL, and both of my uncles were Division I football players at UTEP and SMU. That background has shaped my mindset, my work ethic, and the standard I hold myself to every day.”
