“Hi, I'm Jake Martin, a Class of 2028 WR/FS who, as a sophomore, was a starter for CA State Champion (and No. 4 in the nation) Santa Margarita Catholic HS. As a freshman, I played mostly defense, but this past season I was a starting WR in the toughest HS league in the nation, the Trinity League. I'm still only 16 -- not a holdback -- and I know my best football is ahead of me. I'm a "twitchy" athlete -- fast and quick, and a precise route runner who jumps well and is strong enough to win jump balls and make tough grabs in traffic. What I know as a WR helps me at FS, too, allowing me to anticipate routes and hit in a way that can make a receiver not want to come into my area. I'm also a 3.33 student.
