“As a DB in the Trinity League, I face top receivers every week and compete against some of the best competition in the country. I’m a versatile DB with experience playing press, off-man, and zone coverage. My background as a wide receiver gives me an edge in understanding route concepts and receiver tendencies, allowing me to anticipate and make plays on the ball. I play a physical, disciplined game and use my length and 76” wingspan to disrupt receivers. As a sophomore, my first two varsity starts at corner came in the CIF Championship and State Championship games, giving me experience competing in high-pressure situations against top competition. I’m also a track athlete, and hold the Santa Margarita freshman record in the 100 meters and competing at Arcadia, CIF, and the state level as part of the 4x100 relay team. My speed and length allow me to cover ground and finish on the ball. I was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and have lived in the United States since age three. That background shapes the mindset and focus I bring to everything I do as an athlete and teammate. I’m continuing to improve my game and compete at a high level every day.”
