Hello Coaches, My name is Kingston Jimmerson, Class of 2029, and I am a Defensive Lineman at Santa Margarita Catholic High School. I am currently a freshman and competed at all three levels this year. I was also honored to be selected as a PrepRedzone.com Watch List athlete for the Class of 2029. I chose Santa Margarita because of its incredible legacy in both academics and athletics, as well as its outstanding coaching staff. Being a faith-driven school, it has also given me the opportunity to continue building and strengthening my relationship with God, which is very important to me. On the field, my coaches describe me as having a great first step and being strong at the point of contact. I pride myself on being coachable and working hard every day. I am explosive, strong, and play with great awareness and field vision. I have a high motor and will chase plays down whenever needed. I currently spend most of my time on the edge, but I am capable of playing end, 3-tech, 1-tech, or 0-tech. I am willing to play wherever my team needs me and execute at the highest level. Playing in the Trinity League is no easy feat, and I love every bit of the competition. With me, you are getting a “we over me” player who is willing to put it all on the line for my team. I may not be the biggest, strongest, or fastest, but I will never be outworked—I still have growing to do in those areas. I am just looking for one opportunity to further my education while continuing to play the sport I love. I look forward to speaking with you, learning more about your program, and building a relationship with your coaching staff. Thank you for your time, Kingston Jimmerson
“My goal is to graduate high school with high marks, earn a scholarship to a four-year university, and obtain my degree while continuing to play football at the next level. What drives me is my commitment to my team, my faith, and my family. I take pride in being coachable, working hard, and giving everything I have every time I step on the field. I am motivated by the competition around me, especially playing in the Trinity League, and I embrace the challenge of constantly improving my strength, speed, and overall game. I know I still have areas to grow in, but I attack those with the same mindset—I will not be outworked. More than anything, I am driven to be a “we over me” player, someone my teammates and coaches can rely on, and someone who takes full advantage of every opportunity given to me.”
