About Kaleb

As a student-athlete who plays three sports (Football and Baseball at Santa Margarita Catholic HS/Trinity League and Rugby at California Legion Academy), I have learned the importance of time management, accountability and self-discipline. All of these attributes are what make me the well-rounded person I am, on and off the Football field. Football is my passion and I am truly a "student of the game". I enjoy watching film on my own in order to continue to breakdown, analyze and learn my opponent. It also helps me to evaluate my performance so I can improve my decision-making on the field. I am grateful for the feedback from my coaches because it always offers insight and areas for improvement. As a Safety, I am able to showcase my speed, communication skills, leadership, vision of the field and play making abilities. I love tackling and delivering hard hits, but I also value the patience and responsibility that comes with being the "last man" on defense. Rugby has not only allowed me to gain international playing experience, it has also provided me with a stronger tackling foundation that I bring into Football. Baseball provides me the opportunity to fine tune my skills in tracking the ball and hand-eye coordination. All three sports have taught me what a true brotherhood is, but Football has humbled me and shown me what self-sacrifice really looks like. Academically, I hold myself to a high standard and it reflects in my grades. I bring the same intensity and drive I have for Football into the classroom. I believe my rigorous high school course load is helping to prepare me for the challenge of balancing college academics and athletics in the future.
